Pioneer is focusing on direct DJ uploads to streaming sites.

Pioneer DJ have added SoundCloud support to their mix-recording app DJM-REC. The app, which was announced earlier this year , records mixes directly via USB from compatible Pioneer DJ mixers, or it can be used with any mixer with any compatiable hardware such as Evermix's MixBox.

Previously, it was possible to live stream directly to Facebook, YouTube and Instagram as well as upload your tracks to MixCloud, but Pioneer DJ have now added SoundCloud compatibility, meaning you can upload your mix directly to the streaming platform. DJM-REC costs £9.99 and is available on the app store for iOS only.
