Artist Interview
It wasn’t meant to be easy so you will appreciate it when it happens.
Please introduce yourself to those unfamiliar with your DJ sound.
Lady C. I am inspired by 90's House Music and play a lot of Classics from then. I also love the Balearic sounds of Ibiza and play a lot of Vocal and Melodic House tracks.

...I pictured people sat on their balconies watching the sun and sea whilst playing this mix.
What are your highlights of the past year and what is planned for the future?
Warming up for Gok Wan, playing Camp Bestival, warming up for Chris Moyles and being on the line up with Groove Armada and getting to watch them blow up the dance floor from backstage!
I am currently learning to produce Music with a couple of tracks taking shape. Watch this space!
Tell us something positive to inspire future artists.
I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would ever play outside of my house when I first started mixing. The love for Music has definately being a driving force for me. If you have love for Music then do not give up. I have been doing this 15 years and feel like I am just getting started. It wasn’t meant to be easy so you will appreciate it when it happens.
What artists have inspired your DJ style?
Sam Divine is a huge inspiration to me as a DJ especially from a female perspective and she continues to be. Sam never gave up and continues to own every stage she walks onto.
Talk us through your podcast mix track selection.
I have a monthly residency with Ibiza stardust radio and the slot for this month was a morning slot. So I pictured people sat on their balconies watching the sun and sea whilst playing this mix.
I am a big fan of Crazy P I just love their 80's electric pop sound. I really like a saxophone too in my tracks so Night Time by Borneland was a natural choice for the morning mix I was making. I also really love pretty much anything by Miguel Migs. He uses really lovely vocals (Lisa Shaw) and he also has an 80's electric pop sound sometimes which is just infectious.
