The enthusiastic response from the Cornish nightlife community was overwhelming, allowing Little South to become a crucial platform for local artists seeking exposure at events. As time went on, our reach expanded beyond Cornwall and encompassed artists and events from across Devon and the entire South West of England, UK. One of our defining features has been the opportunity to showcase DJ mixes through our podcast series. Since our establishment, we have actively published podcast mixes from some of the most talented DJs in the South West. These mixes serve as a testament to the exceptional skills and creativity of our region's DJs, providing a platform for them to showcase their talent to a wider audience.

At Little South, we have a strong commitment to nurturing nightlife and live music events. A crucial aspect of our work is event promotion, which we prioritize and strive to excel at. Our dedicated team actively seeks out localised, independent music events to showcase and promote. Idris Elba Plays A Struggling DJ In New TV Show

A brand new comedy will stream on Netflix called 'Turn Up Charlie'.

Idris Elba, star of The Wire, real-life DJ and general heartthrob, will star as a struggling DJ in a new Netflix comedy series, ‘Turn Up Charlie’. Elba stars as Charlie, who takes a job as a nanny to his famous best friend’s daughter, is a perennial bachelor DJ.

Elba created the series, which is primed for a debut on 15th March of this year, alongside Gary Reich.

Frankie Hervey is a new star as the daughter, while Piper Perabo (of Coyote Ugly fame) and JJ Field also feature.

Idris Elba is a house DJ in his own right, having famously played the James Bond theme tuneat Elrow Town London last year, after speculation over him being the next James Bond after Daniel Craig.
