The people behind Perranporth's popular Tunes In The Dunes festival are on a roll, they have announced that two new festivals will take place in Devon later this summer! Tunes On The Sands will take place July 12th - 14th 2019 at Blackpool Sands near Dartmouth, Devon and be followed by Tunes In The Castle in August. Tunes Festivalsare really pushing their summer festivals across the South West and have secured a number of headline acts to play iconic locations.

This year Tunes on the Sands will welcome KT Tunstall, Wet Wet Wet, Hoosiers, UB40, Natty, The Proclaimers, as well as local rising talent. The festival goes beyond the tunes, with a gin bar for gin lovers, a beach clean up event lead by Surfers Against Sewage, kayaking and SUPping, beach activities for youngsters, plus much more. Tunes on the Sands is family-friendly and welcomes revellers of all ages, for a magical long weekend on Devon's most idyllic stretch of coastline.

Tunes on the Sands are committed to keeping Blackpool Sands clean and green, so reusable cups will be available to minimise single-use plastic. Sister Festival Tunes in the Dunes has worked closely with Surfers Against Sewage for the last five years, with a sleeves up approach towards tackling the plastic pollution problem. Tunes on the Sands will have an equally proactive attitude to keeping the beach plastic free. The hashtag #PlasticFreeTunes is used across all social platforms to raise awareness and to inspire action among Tunes community.
