A 32 minute film has contributions from Honey Dijon, Eats Everything and Blond:ish discussing how the dance music industry can move forward beyond covid-19. Pioneer DJ has commissioned the film 'Distant Dancefloors: Covid-19 and the Electronic Dance Music Industry.

It is unfortunate the situation that we are in but we adapt, that’s what we do, that’s our human nature.

The film explores the devastating effect on venues, artists and public trust in socialising. Artist Blond:ish says: “It is unfortunate the situation that we are in but we adapt, that’s what we do, that’s our human nature. The question is, how are we adapting as a music industry? And, how are we going to come back and solidify a new sustainable foundation as an industry and be innovative for everyone else, to be an example?”
