Think acid house, think squelching synths and the classic Roland 303 sequences that soundtracked many parties in the 90s. Plymouth club night promoters, Casa have planned something special for March 21st 2020 which promises an enhanced sound system at Crash Manor!

Clear the room, Casa are coming in, with our first party of 2020. bringing back our most requested event of all time THE ACID HOUSE PARTY. Get your 90’s garms out, baggy tees, bucket hats, smileys and dungarees. Fancy dress is highly recommended, but not compulsory. The last 2 acid house parties we did, you all rocked up and looked spanking.

As we continue taking Casa to various venues across the city. This 850 capacity club with its own balcony over looking the dance floor and DJ is the perfect layout for this themed event & ready to be thrown back to 1988. One minutes walk from our old stomping ground, the hub. A venue seriously underused for many years, especially by our genre of music. in a time of local venue crisis.

A night influenced and inspired by all things relating to the late 80s - early 90s Acid House era. Think the usual Casa bombs but with an added sprinkling of those classic Roland 303, 808, 909 sounds. Think massive rave culture production & decor, think smileys, & think massive sound systems.

‘Acid house is a subgenre of house music developed around the mid-1980s by DJs in Chicago. The defining feature of the signature 'electronic squelching' sound was produced using the Roland TB-303 electronic synthesizer-sequencer. Acid house spread to the United Kingdom and continental Europe in the mid-late 90s, where it was played widely by DJs in the then massive acid house rave scene’.

The proposed outdoor event at Pendennis Castle in Falmouth has been cancelled. Initially scheduled for September 2025, the event was set to feature orchestral renditions of popular dance anthems. A large stage was to be erected within the castle grounds, which would have provided a picturesque backdrop
