Little South is where the artists come to play - created with the goal of supporting and promoting local DJs and Producers in West Cornwall, UK, who specialize in various genres of dance music. The enthusiastic response from the Cornish nightlife community was overwhelming, allowing Little South to become a crucial platform for local artists seeking exposure at events. As time went on, our reach expanded beyond Cornwall and encompassed artists and events from across the entire South West of England, UK. One of our defining features has been the opportunity to showcase DJ mixes through our podcast series. Since our establishment, we have actively published podcast mixes from some of the most talented DJs in the South West. These mixes serve as a testament to the exceptional skills and creativity of our region's DJs, providing a platform for them to showcase their talent to a wider audience.

Established house and trance DJ and now nightclub owner, Sundance is back with a huge podcast mix for us!

Sundance had this to say in support of his latest podcast mix:

"Since opening Boxx Night club over four years ago and moving venue to Helston, running the club has kept me from regular dj bookings and gigs.

After dj'ing the Cornish circuit and few out of county gigs over the last 18 years, its odd not being out on the dj circuit.

However that's about to change. Although running my own club is a dream come true, I miss the interaction of going out to gigs, hooking up with fellow dj's and most importantly playing uplifting music to new people wanting to escape for a few hours and party.

Therefore starting this Sunday you can catch me playing from 8pm up in Carlyon Bay at the Off Beat Beach Party. Joined by fellow dj's this location is Cornwalls answer to Cafe Mambo. The dj stage is on top of the beach bar with a whole load of beach ravers up for a party!

This is my first podcast for Little South in a while and whilst I've been known mainly for my upifting trance style over the years, I'm also partial to playing uplifting grooving House/Tech House music.

This mix reflects this style and is a builder as the energy increases throughout the mix. I always try to make a bit of a journey with my mixes and it's always been my style. Taking an audience on a trip and steering the energy and building it up.

Boxx Night Club holds one of the latest licenses with a 4.30am close. On Fridays and Saturdays we have two floors of music. Main room is more commercial while up in the music bar you'll hear all styles of dance music, from House, Trance, Dnb, HipHop, Tech House, Techno and more with guest dj’s.

We hold special events and parties throughout the year and this Sunday 26th August we play host to the Kernow Kollective Bank Holiday Special Drum n Bass party with Jack the Ripper and KillIll.

We can also boast a new event audio system which is the awesome RC Audio 12k rig supplied by my dj friend Arron Woods.
