I like to introduce my music choice as alternative, sassy, cultured, euphoric power house.

Hi, please introduce yourself to those unfamiliar with your work.

My name is DJ name is Pheonix Fox. I also do a small fire performance, fire breathing and body burning. I like to introduce my music choice as alternative, sassy, cultured, euphoric power house. I’m very grateful to have a played at the dead famous club in Newquay regularly. I have performed weddings and also played at birthday party’s down the beach bar on Fistral beach. I am Particularly excited to be at Truro cathedral for New Year’s Eve in the secret gin garden. I have been passionate about music since the 90’s rave scene. Starting gracing the dance floors at Dance Academy in Plymouth, A classic club- not to be forgotten. To the trance scene in tall trees in Newquay in its hay day. Moving on to house music and visiting ibiza repeatedly since I was 18! I have been to many festivals, including , Glastonbury, Boom town creamfields, and my passion for music continues to grow relentlessly.

How have you utilised the 2020/21 lockdowns?

In lockdown I managed to learn to DJ. I really missed dancing and needed something to keep me going! Music is therapy to me.

I’m a hairdresser and have been for 20 years, always working days and nights and have been far too busy to learn anything.

So in lock down I was fortunate enough to have to time to learn something different and be coached by a very good friend DJ Modir who I actually did a fire performance for in her event Culture 76, a disco event. In between all the mayhem of COVID.
