Hey Little South! Thanks for having me back once again to have a featured Podcast.

As always, I try and do something special and exclusive for you guys, as LittleSouth has always been looking to promote South West artists, so big ups LittleSouth.com !

I have had a hugely eventful year since we last spoke, and can highlight a few bits for you guys. The big one was my wedding in Las Vegas, to my beautiful wife, Cozzie. I am sure she is more familiar to most as DJ Cozzie Watt, and we tied the knot (that rhymed ;) in July in 45 degree heat in the biggest party town on the planet, Sin City, Las Vegas. We had beyond an amazing time, and travelled from Vegas to Venice Beach, onto San Francisco before heading back into Hollywood for a week. It was here I surprised my new wife with the news that I had arranged a secret DJ gig for us at Respect DNB, Hollywood, Los Angeles' longest running Drum & Bass night. We played alongside Saxxon & Machete who ran the night and enjoyed fantastic hospitality from the DNB family in the US. We made some great friends and will hopefully be returning in the future! Believe me when I tell you, the UK dance music scene has a huge following over there, and we were honoured to represent the music we love, and have such a brilliant reception to it. BIG LOVE!

This Podcast mix took a little planning, as I really wanted to do something different. Being a bit of a tech geek, I decided I would try and show the very unique view we DJs have when we are mixing, so, if your interested, you can see what all the button tweaking and fader movements do in relation to the audio you are hearing. I recorded the direct audio and then synced it to the HD Go Pro footage (minus the sound) as closely as possible, so you can the see what happens when we start pressing buttons and stuff!

Tune selection was quite easy when I started picking them out as I tried to capture the rise from jungle and funky housey liquid vibe DNB through the rollers into harder and a bit of good jump to close. I am lucky to have had lots of Dubs from artists such as T>I, Saxxon, Upgrade, Limited & Low Down Deep which hopefully will make the mix a bit more exclusive, as the majority of these tracks are still unreleased obviously. All contributing artists are happy for their use in this Podcast.

Style wise, I think all DJs are constantly adapting and changing both in line with new music and tastes, but also through natural progression and curiosity. Most DJs enjoy spending time messing around with music and noises rather than sitting down to craft a full mixtape etc. Its all about enjoying it, whatever it is you do.

Both myself & Cozzie Watt will be playing out in the South West over the coming months, so come and say hello! We just did Stomp For Josh, which is a local Penryn Charity event, for a very worthy cause, please check them out! Frendzy was fantastic fun again this year, well done to all involved!

We will be once again be playing the opening set for Hospitality DNB at The Halloween Masked Ball, which we did last year also. Cozzie is supporting Shapes at the Watering Hole early October, and we have a few dates in Torquay coming too. Dubphonics are hosting a roadblock event in Newquay very soon, catch us supporting there too!

Feel free to keep an eye on our social media links to see whats going down.

Thats it for now Little South, thanks for having me. Big love to all the South West artists & ravers that keep pushing the scene forward as always
