Hayley Blue

Podcast Mix Of The Year 2025

The South West music scene has a new reigning champion as Little South officially crowned Hayley Blue the winner of the Podcast Mix of the Year 2025. This prestigious accolade follows the success of her "Light Up The Dancefloor" mix, which captivated listeners with its high-energy fusion of soulful house, funky disco, and jackin' beats.

A Year of High-Energy Vibes

Hayley Blue’s ascent in 2025 was marked by her signature "mission to spread joy and encourage movement". Her winning mix stood out for its inclusive atmosphere, reflecting her 15-year career as a versatile artist capable of seamlessly blending genres ranging from chilled beach house to deep progressive and tech house.

The award caps off a massive year for Hayley, who held residencies with Sonar Events and spearheaded her own brand, Decadance, known for its "hands-in-the-air house nights" and unforgettable boat parties.

Why It Won

The "Podcast Mix of the Year" is a "tried and tested" honor from Little South, a platform dedicated to promoting local talent in the South West. Hayley’s mix gained momentum throughout the year gaining a staggering 48k plays across the globe. Hayley takes on the crown previously held by Dave Hunt in 2024. Hayley's fans have praised her "ability to pick the right tunes at the right moment," turning a digital podcast into a visceral emotional journey.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Not one to rest on her laurels, Hayley Blue is already moving into the new year with a packed schedule. Fans can catch her at upcoming events like the Midsummer Night's Dream Mansion Party in May 2026, or check out her regular shows on Beach Radio Official.

Here's what Hayley Blue had to say

How does it feel to take the title of 'Podcast Mix of the Year 2025'?

Completely blown away! I’m so grateful for the support from friends, family and listeners around the world. I put my heart into that mix, so to be recognised with Podcast Mix of the Year 2025 is a real honour. Thank you all so much! Thank you to you too Little South for the exposure.

What do you think made your episode so popular?

I think it was the honesty and energy behind it. I didn’t overthink it. I just focused on playing music I genuinely love and telling a story through the mix. When it comes from a real place, people feel that connection.

What artists, venues and promoters have supported you?

I think a big part of it comes down to variety and experience. Over the past year I’ve been incredibly lucky to play at so many different types of events from weddings and corporate functions to large venues and branded events, and that’s really shaped my sound and adaptability. Playing at places and events like Park Lane, Exeter Chiefs, Torquay Arena, Las Iguanas, The Lansdowne, Victoria’s Secret, OAP, and alongside Lee H has pushed me creatively and helped me connect with very different audiences. Special thanks to Judge Jules and Chris Moyles for their support too!

I’m also hugely grateful for the support and opportunities from Savour and Sound, and especially my new agent Sarah, who’s been amazing. All of those experiences fed into the episode, and I think listeners could hear that journey, energy, and passion come through in the mix.

What is next for 2026?

2026 is about taking everything I’ve built and levelling up. I’m excited to be working on a new project with a close friend, while expanding into more diverse events, new venues, and opportunities to reach wider audiences. I’m focused on staying true to my sound while continuing to evolve, and I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead. I’m also looking forward to working closely with Savour and Sound and my agent Sarah to explore new opportunities, including bigger stages.
