...extremely frustrating not being out and getting involved...

Hi, please introduce yourself to those unfamiliar with your work.

Firstly thank you to Little South for having me back for another Podcast, it’s always a pleasure to put a mix together for you guys. For those that are unfamiliar to me I am part of the Cornish Techno Heavyweight Collaboration SiN and have been part of the scene for many years. You might have seen my play at the recent Orbital Gathering event back in July.

A man wearing headphones is playing music at a party.

How have you utilised the 2020/21 lockdowns?

During the 2020/21 lockdowns I had a real love hate relationship with music and found it extremely frustrating not being out and getting involved like previous years. Frustration aside it gave me time time to experiment different styles within the techno genre and really find the music and the sound that I love.

I really enjoyed mixing this podcast and was in the zone - you are in for a hellova ride!

Describe your DJ style.

My DJ style is predominantly peak time with rolling bass lines and big drops but I do enjoy playing more melodic techno from time to time or when I’m at home.

Talk us through your podcast mix track selection.

For this podcast I’ve played an hour of techno that is me. It’s heavy, hypnotic, unpredictable and full of energy just how I like it. I really enjoyed mixing this podcast and was in the zone - you are in for a hellova ride!
