The coronavirus spread in the UK has meant that the UK's Prime Minister has ordered the immediate closure of all public venues including cafes, cinemas, pubs and nightclubs. The unprecedented move indicates the severity of the virus spreading and that extreme measures are required to save lives.

Mr Johnson said that, at present, "we need to keep people apart" - but that the situation will be reviewed each month.
