An evening of Jazz is in order for Truro's Old Bakery Studios venue with one of Cornwall’s most popular saxophonists and vocalists, Paul Haywood.

Jazz Cornwall say
Active on the Cornish music scene as both a teacher and performer for over twenty years, Paul can be heard frequently playing with DJ Martin Cee as part of Delux X, whilst also working with a number of Jazz and Jazz/Funk ensembles throughout the South West.

Leading the highly respected quartet ‘Licence to Swing’, he will be visiting many of the most popular jazz standards, whilst also dipping into the more modern repertoire of fusion and funk from his work as a member of jazz/funk outfit, ‘Deep Squid’.

Paul also provided the majority of saxophone work on Simon Latarche’s Cornish Preludes CDs from 2010 and 2012, consequently, this will be something of a reunion gig with Simon on Piano, Sam Norman on Double Bass and Keith Marshall on Drums.
