...more often than not I’m building 3-4 layers of sound and atmospheres by looping and holding tracks in for longer...

Hi, Please introduce yourself to those unfamiliar with your DJ life.

Hi we are Bronx Cheer & Anna M, husband and wife and we dj and produce music together occasionally 😂, between us we have half a century plus of experience in the music business, we love dj'ing and think that comes across when we play and in our mixes.

Describe your DJ sound.

Our dj sound, completely depends on the audience, anything from Disco through to Techno, my my real passion is good old fashioned HOUSE music. Jackin, funky, Nu-Disco, its all House Music, Anna actually likes things a bit tougher & more underground, so anything in the mix with more of an underground sound was probably picked & mixed by Anna.

...it absolutely reminded me why I love dj'ing live to a great crowd...

Tell us how you have kept busy during the last year or so of lockdowns.

We kept busy the last couple of years, initially with live streams on Facebook, which became more and more difficult with takedowns, then onto mixcloud live, the more recently We have been doing a lot of collaborations with Paul Parsons, Adri Block of Block & Crown, we even had one of our tracks make it to Number one on Traxsource after it was charted by some big names including Louie Vega & David Morales among other high profile dj’s. ï»¿We also spent 3 months last year in Ibiza ,we drove out there with our dog it was quite an adventure.

Talk us through this podcast episode and why you have chosen to include the tracks that have made the cut.

This mix is based on a recent set I played at The Bearded Brewery where I played with the PCH dj's, it was such a fun afternoon / Night, it absolutely reminded me why I love dj'ing live to a great crowd, so I thought why not re record it with Anna’s input and share it as an exclusive mix for Little South, its a very good representation of what we play and make with many of our own productions some unreleased and some already released, hope you all enjoy.
