We catch up with a vocalist and music producer, Ruth who's based in West Cornwall and has recently been featured on a BBC Introducing track with Alexander Norman.

"Currently I am working with a duo called Alexander Norman... Or MC Whizz kid ( real name Gordon May ) and Ed Ash...

They are trying something new by creating all sorts of music in different genres. This works perfect for myself as I love to play with lots of different sounds. They send me a track, ask me to do my thang....sometimes they give me a rough idea of what they are looking for but usually they just let me do what I feel is right....I record everything at home and blast it all back to them.

'Lay it down' has just been released - an awesome house track... with some old sounds resonating in there...we have had some amazing feedback off this and it is currently track of the week on bbc introducing....This was my first track with these guys.

I have since done with them a hardcore track which I also love and so did everyone else in the clubs when they have been testing it out.

Also an 80's style dance track with Gorg rapping in it too.

I have another nu disco track coming out this summer with Si Gordon and a couple of music videos to do to go with some bespoke wedding songs we have produced with my company."

"I'm off to university this September in Falmouth to finish off my degree but ive veered off electronic music production and am going into something that is more of a mixture of that, live sounds and preforming.

I also have a business im building up working with different producers/musicians such as Gary Williams and Chris Morris (from paperlace) and Matthew Sandey creating bespoke songs for people as gifts, music for events or promo work....

I am also keeping my eyes and ears wide open for producers that I like the sound of to collaborate with. I love working with new people and hearing their art and being able to blend what I do with theirs."

This week RUTH has had two new releases and one more in the pipe line which is being sent to the bbc as we speak....
The first one here is ' ALL NIGHT LONG' available for pre-order.
A funky, chic disco track with a new modern twist that has been produced by Si Gordon ( Enyon) accompanied with remixes from Tasty Recordings very own Discotron and new in house artist G-Flash, and Ruth on lyrics and vocals.
Disco is back baby!
Go and check Enyon out...top class!
There is also news that Ruth and Enyon have produced another Disco vibe... coming out soon so watch this space!

Next.... Alexander Norman....
What an amazing response to 'Lay it down' - the house track Ruth featured on, but now they have released a new one with a music video in tow....
The amazing Gordon May ( Aka MC WIZZKID ) doing his thang...with a little tribute sound to an icy character... can you figure out what hes done?
A great sound with a hint of 90's.. Ruth said ' I am loving this track and so blessed to be a part of this. It was so much fun making it....'
The release date to purchase has yet to be confirmed....So keep your eyes and ears peeled and go and have a look and listen to it.

Also last week Ruth said she had the pleasure of working with the very talented Skrribbz, creating a sexy house tune, normally is a hip hop producer but has put his hands to this... 'I must admit! I was very impressed! Lyrics and vocals are by both myself and Skrribbz. What a fun collaboration. I cannot wait until everyone can hear what we have done'
This has just been sent out to BBC introducing... which if it gets on will be Ruths second track in a number of weeks.
Stay tuned!
