Hi, Please introduce yourself to those unfamiliar with your DJ life.

Hey there everyone my name is Pat Mcgrath. I’m a Cornish techno dj,resident for Strength in Numbers,SIN. Also run my own events under the name Frequency.

Describe your DJ sound.

My sound varies across the techno genre. I love to play high energy, hard hitting techno to more melodic, progressive. I love all aspects of the sound.

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but this style of music really excites me and I’ve always felt it’s home.

Tell us how you have kept busy during the last year or so of lockdowns.

Over lockdown I tried to change my skills in mixing by doing things differently. Just trying out new ways in which to bring two tracks together. Mixing them together very quickly or right at the end of a track, or using my RMX as drum machine to make different sounds to lay over my tracks.
