Godden In Session

Episode 13/18 | Godden | Podcast Mixes

A group of people sitting in front of a stage with a light coming out of it.

The long awaited podcast mix from Godden has arrived for 2018! Godden describes his mix as something for your mind, body and soul.

Sitting down to plan a DJ set is not something I tend to do. I prefer to steer each set towards the people who are there, and as a result no two sets are ever the same. So as I stared at a blank piece of paper thinking of what to play for this podcast I decided to keep it flexible. I dragged some of my favourite tunes from various sets I have played over the last few months into a playlist , pressed record and the result is here for you to listen.

You’ll find a couple of tracks from Purple Disco Machine, whose set at Boardmasters last year was a highlight plus contributions from Camelphat and Riton, a classic opener from Orbital and a couple of surprising additions.. As for the genre - you call it what you like - house, tech house, techno, breaks probably apply to some tunes here. Hopefully you’ll find something for your mind, body and soul!.

This latest instalment in the Little South Podcast series was recorded in one take with the Pioneer DDJ 1000. June 2018.
