...at the time of writing it's been 50 weeks since I played to a live crowd!

Hi, great to have you featured - please introduce yourself to our readers.

I am Kevin Godden. Based in St Just (the real one near Penzance, Cornwall). I have been DJing for 11 years; all over the South West and have been lucky enough to play at some of the biggest events in the South West.

Talk us through how you filled your time during the lockdown.

The past year has been tough - at the time of writing it's been 50 weeks since I played to a live crowd! I have kept my hand in by putting out regular livestream DJ sets (Under the moniker "Dance In Your Pants") which I am pleased to say have proved to be popular. I can't wait to get out and about though - playing to a live crowd brings a whole new dynamic to DJing which is why we do it!

It wouldn't be a GODDEN mix without a couple of classics so there are new mixes of Children and Lola's Theme.

Talk us through your podcast mix track selection.

Putting this mix together I took a bunch of tunes - some new such as the opener from Faithless, and some which aren't new but feel it because they haven't been played at gigs, such as Hocus Pocus by Eli Brown and Zulu by Max Chapman. It wouldn't be a GODDEN mix without a couple of classics so there are new mixes of Children and Lola's Theme. Add a pinch of Purple Disco Machine and garnish with Pink Floyd and Nick Cave (No, that's not a typo!) and play loud for 60mins!
