This winter, Brockout and NoNoM are joining forces for an unforgettable winter solstice weekend event at The Refuge in Exeter. Taking place on Saturday 19th December, this special night brings two heavyweight electro-techno acts down into the venue's basement for an all-night showcase of underground techno, electro, and acid. The event runs from 8pm until 2am, offering free entry for all attendees who come ready to sweat.
Headlining the stacked lineup is Censor label boss Alex Jann, known for creating raw, off-world machine funk under his own name, as F.R.B, and alongside DJ Haus as Cyberdine Systems Corp. He brings an impressive pedigree to the basement, with a back catalogue of releases on respected labels such as Mechatronica, Brokntoys, Dance Trax, Soft Computing, and Cultivated Electronics.
Joining him is Galaxian, Scotland’s premier light-speed electro alchemist, delivering a highly anticipated DJ set. Having earned the admiration of electronic music icons like Aphex Twin, Helena Hauff, and DJ Stingray, Galaxian boasts a formidable discography with releases on powerhouse labels including Tresor, Ilian Tape, Return To Disorder, and Micron Audio. Rounding out the stacked solstice lineup are supporting sets from Ms Ogyny, the resident NoNoM DJs, and Rhythm Session.
