Kris Nebroso, a.k.a Chris Osborne, is a DJ / Producer from Cornwall who started his everlasting passion for Dance music back in 1998. It was back then that he was lucky enough to catch on to the 'nu wave' of trance that was being produced at that time. His passion for electronic music started way before this though, thanks to a childhood of constantly listening to various electronic music, from artists such as; Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Mike Oldfield etc. It was also back in 1998 that Kris started to broadcast live, on-air radio shows for Airwaves - a local youth radio station that broadcasted mainly to Camborne & Redruth. For almost ten years now, Kris Nebroso has made appearances at various venues throughout Cornwall. His DJ sets are all about the highest quality 'Progressive' tunes. Aside from DJ-ing, Kris is also gaining gradual recognition as a respected producer. Recently signed 'Divinity' has so far recieved support from headline djs. His latest offering, 'Vedana', which sees him edging towards his more progressive style is set for release later in the year.
Jack Nash aka Morphosis is one half of Falmouth based duo Simian Sounds, he got hold of his first pair of miss-matched belt driven turntables age 17 and has never looked back, 14 years down the line he's still spinning.
He's covered a whole host of different styles during those years, from Trance to Techno, Acid House to Bigbeat, finally settling with the genre spanning NuSkool Breaks, spinning this along side Fidget and Tech House. He also does a mid-tempo Funk Breaks thing blended with Broken Beats, Nu Jazz, Reggae, Latin and Balkan beats.
He's lived in the South West for the past 10 years, moving down here from the Midlands to study Fine Art at the University in Falmouth. During this time he became involved in the free party scene and not long after that started up a regular student night, 'Metamorphosis', at the infamous Pirate Inn.
He is now resident and promoter of 'Simian Sounds' on the 2nd & 4th friday of every month @ The Waterman's, Falmouth, as well as the 'The Hong Kong Ping Pong Club' at the same venue on the 3rd friday of the month. Simian Sounds has been running for 3 years now and been at it's
current home for just over 2.
