With the pumping sounds of Sundance's set to be hitting the record stores later this year, as well as promoting and djing one of the biggest events in the South West 2009 is shaping up to be an exciting time.
Dj Sundance's style is always an uplifting set of house or trance. Pumping bass lines and melodic. Playing anything from the small intimate funky bars to some of the larger festivals, the outcome is always the same, high energy with a blown roof and a dance floor full of clubbers. Being a professional dancer some years ago, Dj Sundance takes his knowledge of theatre and stage work and inputs it into his dj sets to create a show. Using dancers and performers where possible to give a visual element to the event. Now signed to Andromeda Recordings USA and having his tracks enter the top ten American soundclick dance charts, his 2nd album 'Showers of Gold' will be on release in August.
His dance events company 'FORBIDDEN RHYTHM' will be out hosting events this year at venues in the South West very soon, the first dates will be at the Sandsifter Hayle on 24 July and 26th September.
The performance approach is also used in his live PA sets, singers, dancers, musicians all conspire to create that showmanship energy. The live PA show is full of dynamic energy and is a true crowd pleaser, performing his own productions along with his stage
performance knowledge, this gives him the edge.
