Stuttering Munx are UK stars on the rise Tim Nice ( Davies) & Johnny Young. They started Dj'ing and producing together in 2008 and it was a groundbreaking year for the guys with several original tracks being released on labels from London to Tokyo to Seattle. Their brilliant remixes for Agent Automatic, and David Amo & Julio Navas, along with their wicked interpretation of Groove Junkies “Black Man In The White House” which reached the Number 1 spot on Traxsource’s Tech House Chart capped off a banner year.
With a string of remixes for the likes of DropX, Jocasta & The Groove Junkies and several top 10’s on Traxsource in 2009 including a number One. The Stuttering Munx finished off 2009 in style with their remix of Midnight for the Groove Junkies which again went top ten on Traxsource. With big props from some of House musics heavy weights.
Their residency at the Koola saw them dj with Calvin Harris, Kissy Sellout, Just Jack & Lisa Lashes last year, showing they can do the perfect warm up for many styles and rock the club after the big names. They have created a strong local following which gets a mention in this month (Feb 2010) mixmag.
After a successful trip to Miami, where Tim managed to secure remixes for Michelle Weeks, and Indeya Ft Titus Futo. Johnny announced he wanted to take a back seat and spend more time with the family, so for the moment Tim is flying the flag for the Munx, he has completed said remixes and is now concentrating on the Launch of his new Digital label in September “Tall House Digital” www.tallhousedigital.com with several artists & tracks already signed, this is an exiting time for Stuttering Munx.
