Evil Genius (alias Jon Edgecombe) is an elder statesman of house music. However, he’s definitely not ‘old school’!
Jon’s music of choice is funky, dirty, ‘high definition’ house music, his mantra is that he will only play the tracks that inspire, tracks that blend the recognition of great sounds that you know, with sounds that are literally days old and definitely ’fresh out of the oven’!
With over 20 years DJing experience, Jon has played in most of the local clubs and festivals as well as work in some quality venues in Italy & Turkey. Jon currently plays at the Chy & Koola bar with local DJ superstar Tim (Fat Boy) Nice. He also has residencies in Truro’s One Eyed Cat bar, and The Hub in St.Ives.
Generous to a fault – if you like a track he’s playing he will often hand it to you! Expect also to be given the latest free mixed discs at his gigs.
