"Hard, Fast & Trancey!"
Wired got into Dance Music in the early nineties when he was introduced to Hardcore by a friend. This would be the beginning of a wonderous journey into electronic sounds for this young lad. Over the next few years he went to every Rave/Club event he could get to, mingling with like minded people, exploring different genres of Dance music, but was always pulled in by Harddance specifically Hardtrance!
By 1996 he realised that just going to the event's was not enough & that he too wanted to mix this banging music for the masses, so with a limited budget went out & brought his first pair of Decks which were only a pair of Belt-Drive but done the job & started learning to beatmatch. Over the next year or so he would constantly practice until he got to the stage where he could perfectly beatmatch every time & felt confident
enough to play in front of people & afford a decent pair of Turntables.
In 2004 he decided to move away from his small town & move to somewhere where he
could have a chance of being heard & fulfilling his dream, this is how he arrived in Manchester. He started to go to the Harddance event's around Manchester & liked what he saw. He would goto to the event's talking to promoter's making contact's, & handing out demos tapes.
Over the next year even though he could already mix he got expert tuition from the highly
skillfull tutors & found himself gaining new skills like Beat Juggling, Advanced Techniques & even a little
bit of Scratching! But what really appealed to him was the Music Production side of things. Up until now Wired had never been on any Production software but knew he had to learn & eventually make & play his own stuff.
Whilst on the course him & a friend decided to start their own Harddance event called
Rebellion which over the next few months would get bigger & better, attracting more & more followers at every event.
Wired is an energetic skillful Dj. When you see him play his love of the music is expressed & clear to see & hear in his mixing ability and tune selection. The future looks bright for Wired with ongoing interest from various promoters all through his dedication & hard work.
