Hello! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Rachel and I am a student in Cornwall. I also dab in a spot of modelling and am an aspiring DJ. Littlesouth have asked me to write a monthly feature to keep you all up to date with my latest goings on and also reccomendations for events, gigs and club nights! The last few months have been fairly quiet for me, I have had lots of studying to do for my exams and also have been up in London where we shot the video for 'Cheaters', a dance track by Ca$hbeatz ft Guru Josh, being released for the World Cup. Its extremley funny, mocking wannabe wags and the current cheating culture in football. Just for your information- I am not a wannabe wag!
The bank holiday weekend has given me an opportunity to let my hair down and party for the first time in months! On friday I went to Vanilla in Truro- I love the music in there, a fab mix of old school house and modern classics. On sunday night I went to Pure in Newquay for Hard Energy, which was awesome! I partied until 4am and danced the night away to trance. Alex Kidd was there along with Showtek, who I met after their fantastic set, they were so nice! Originally from Holland, they're travelling all over the UK at the moment, and I only got a few minutes with them before they were whisked away out the back door! I plan to go to another hard energy night very soon!
I am passionate about fashion.... like most girls I guess! I tend to design and make a lot of my clothes myself, especially going out dresses! If I wasn't a poor student I would absolutley pop into the nearest Lipsy store and spend spend spend! At the moment I am planning my outfit for the Cornwalls Top Model final at Sailors in Newquay on the 28th May. Come along and support me, its going to be loads of fun! I have also entered the Nuts Boardmasters bikini babes competition, something I wanted to do last year but never got around to it. I am going to need as many high votes as possible on the nuts website, all you have to do is give me a 10 please ;) I really want to win this and can't think of anything more exiting than competing at Boardmasters!
