Joey V is a 22 year old DJ & Producer. He is what they call an obsessed DJ. His obsession began at just 13 years of age where he would spend almost every minute of the day over his decks determined to teach himself to mix and learn new things.
Musically, Joey V is a tech addict. If you catch him in action then expect percussion driven tech-trance, dirty electro-tech, rolling techno or even get up n’ groove funky techno. On a softer note, he also plays mouth watering, touch the laser Uplifting and Euphoric Trance. Not only this, but he combines tunes together to create live mash-ups, whether using 2, 3 or even 4 decks simultaneously. His use of the Pioneer DJM 800 mixer and CDJ 1000 decks create tricks and effects that all in all will leave you standing still in fascination.
Although DJing is Joey’s main love, he is becoming quite a desired name around the world as a producer. Joey produces all things Techy inc. self dubbed Electro-Tech and is gaining heavy support from the likes of Eddie Halliwell, Paul Van Dyk, Marco V, DJ Preach, Mark Sherry and many more. 2007 saw 'Chopperchunk' become trackitdown's biggest seller in the week of its release on Detox Records, not to mention the vinyl being a sell out.
